Job Title: Plumber

Job Summary:

Serve as a Plumber for DAWSON’s Facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Support Services contract supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina. The Plumber performs maintenance, inspection, repair, and installation of plumbing and fire sprinkler systems in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), applicable codes, and contract requirements.

Location: Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of plumbing systems across EPA RTP facilities.
• Support systems including domestic water, sanitary systems, and fire sprinkler systems.
• Perform plumbing work associated with renovations, repairs, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Support preventive maintenance inspections and respond to service calls as required.
• Identify deficiencies and perform repairs in accordance with contract requirements.
• Ensure all plumbing work complies with applicable federal, state, and local codes and contract requirements.
• Coordinate work with site management, Quality Control personnel, and Government representatives.
• Document work performed in accordance with contract reporting and recordkeeping requirements.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable safety requirements and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with plumbing and fire sprinkler systems in commercial facilities.
• State of North Carolina Class I Plumber’s license.
• State of North Carolina Fire Sprinkler license.
• Demonstrated experience supporting plumbing systems in large or complex facilities.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain access to EPA facilities.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
