Program Manager, III Navy Treaty Inspections

Summary:

This position is intended to provide strategic analysis, research, exercise development, staffing, and program management support for the Naval Treaty Implementation Program (NTIP). The work for this position will be located at the Washington Naval Yard, Washington District of Columbia (D.C.)

Job Description

  • Oversee employees on the Compliance Assessment Program (CAP) and Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) Teams
  • Manage the financials of the resultant Task Order
  • Support the CWC Challenge Inspections (CI) Assistance Team as required by the Tiger Team Leader
  • Provide qualified personnel to support the CWC CI Assistance Team
  • Assist in the planning, facilitation, and observation of training and exercise events
  • Complete the NTIP CWC Certification Program via Joint Knowledge Online
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the government on matters related to the program
  • Ensure milestones and deliverables are met on time and according to required completion criteria
  • Establish and maintain procedures to notify, assemble, and deploy designated personnel
  • Maintain existing DON CWC CI related documentation and assist with updating or rewriting documentation as required
  • Discuss all relevant aspects of each program/project and provide a comprehensive analysis of the specifics of each program/project and why it may or may not be constrained by an arms control treaty or agreement or U.S. policy

Qualifications

  • Secret Security Clearance
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Management from an accredited institution
  • Project Management Professional Certification
  • Seven (7) years of experience in Program Management
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft office suite for performance of duties
