Pollution Prevention and Installation Sustainability (ISP) Coordinator

Salary Range: 57,000 - 85,000

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pollution Prevention (P2) and Installation Sustainability (ISP) Coordinator to join our team in Yakima, WA. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop, implement, and oversee pollution prevention and sustainability initiatives within our organization. The ISP Coordinator will work closely with various departments to identify areas for improvement and to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. This position requires working knowledge of: P2 and Sustainability related laws and regulations; ability to identify, research, and evaluate proposed P2 and Sustainability projects for their effects on existing processes, resources, utility consumption, laws, and regulations; and ability to analyze proposed actions to determine their return on investment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
  • Two years of experience with strong understanding of pollution prevention practices and sustainability principles.
  • Experience in developing and implementing environmental sustainability programs.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to pollution prevention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pollution prevention and sustainability strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive environmental initiatives.
  • Conduct audits to assess pollution prevention measures and sustainability efforts.
  • Monitor and report on progress towards sustainability goals.
  • Stay informed about relevant environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Educate staff on pollution prevention and sustainability practices.
