Cultural Resources Technician

Summary
We are seeking a Cultural Resources Technician to assist in the preservation and management of cultural and historical resources. The role involves conducting field surveys, documenting archaeological sites, and ensuring compliance with cultural resource regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field.
  • Experience conducting fieldwork in cultural resource management.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to cultural resources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in GIS and other relevant software.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field surveys to identify cultural resources.
  • Document archaeological sites and artifacts.
  • Assist in the development of cultural resource management plans.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on findings.
  • Participate in outreach and education programs related to cultural resources.
