Master Scheduler, Tyndall AFB
Provide Readiness and Emergency Services Support to the Air Force Civil Engineer community through technical information and standardized methodology, enabling civil engineers worldwide to execute their expeditionary combat support and emergency services missions safely, effectively, and efficiently. Located at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, and update as necessary, the master schedule training and event schedules, and resources needed for the conduct of training activities. Requirements may include master schedules or calendar type schedules, identification of potential impacts, development of alternative COAs, recommendations for balancing resources, schedule and program objectives and performing risk analyses to assess schedule viability based on realistic assessments of schedule risks, preparing alternatives to correct or avoid schedule variances, performing analysis and review of cost estimates, and preparing program cost tracking, trend analysis and budget planning and programming.
Shall be responsible to scheduling units for training and field exercises to meet the AFFORGEN model.
Schedule at a minimum of 12 training events annually for each training location. (12 events across 14 sites equals 168 scheduling events.)
Update the contingency planning scheduling tool.
Coordinate with AFCEC/CXX to develop an exit survey for each course trained across all the training sites.
Collect all the exit surveys to develop a consolidated data to brief AFCEC leaders (CDRL 2).
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of an Associate Degree (or higher) in management or related fields.
Must hold at a minimum Secret Clearance.
Shall have at least five (3) years of experience in scheduling efforts.
Must demonstrate knowledge in Air Force Civil Engineer training and operation processes.
Must have experience in Microsoft Office products, SharePoint, and “ARIS” scheduling systems.
