SharePoint Developer (Secret Clearance)

Position: SharePoint Developer

We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer/Computer Programmer with expertise in SharePoint development and a strong foundation in web technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in developing and maintaining SharePoint applications, utilizing RESTful APIs, OData protocols, JavaScript, JSON, XML, and other related technologies. Additionally, proficiency in SharePoint security architecture, JavaScript frameworks like JQuery, HTML, CSS, and UI design principles is essential for success in this role.

Location: Tyndall AFB, FL

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain SharePoint applications using RESTful APIs and OData protocols.
  • Write CRUD statements to SharePoint REST endpoints via AJAX calls.
  • Utilize JSON for reading AJAX responses from SharePoint and writing payloads for CRUD operations.
  • Implement SharePoint security architecture, including group assignments and permission levels.
  • Work with XML for data manipulation and integration tasks.
  • Demonstrate robust knowledge and coding ability in JavaScript.
  • Utilize JQuery and JQuery UI for enhancing user interface functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-friendly interfaces.
  • Ensure applications meet high standards of quality and performance.
  • Requirements:
  • Proven experience in SharePoint development and customization.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint representational state transfer (REST) API.
  • Proficiency in Open Data (OData) Protocol for writing CRUD statements to SharePoint REST endpoints via AJAX calls.
  • Experience with JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) for reading AJAX responses from SharePoint and writing payloads for CRUD operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint security architecture, group assignments, and permission levels.
  • Familiarity with Extensible Markup Language (XML).
  • Robust coding ability in JavaScript.
  • Experience with JQuery and JQuery UI for UI development.
  • Proficiency in HTML and Cascading Stylesheets (CSS).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of DoD or US Air Force hierarchy and missions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience with web development frameworks and technologies.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and their application in software development projects.
  • Experience with specific web development frameworks or technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, etc.).
  • Certification in agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
