Medical Analyst

Summary: Perform roles and responsibilities as a Medical Analyst in support of training exercise preparation, implementation, and execution.

Job Description:

  • Assist military and government service personnel in the design, planning, coordination, synchronization, preparation, and execution of the training/exercise event.
  • Planning and coordination may include the development of medical scenarios based on relative symptoms of CBRN exposed and conventional casualties, unit, or venue specific visits, including planning meetings and Site Surveys.
  • During the execution of training exercises and evaluations, contractor support will focus on medical assessment, treatment, documentation, and resupply operations of a Casualty Collection Point (CCP), Cold Zone Level 2 medical care in a mass casualty environment, and medical operations in support of search and extraction as well as oversight of responder medical surveillance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position.
  • Secret security clearance
  • Possess knowledge on triage and casualty medical management in response to chemical/biological incidents. Knowledge of EMS system and categories of hospitals capabilities as to Level 1, 2, or 3.
  • Possess a background in basic medical knowledge; chemical, biological, and radiological casualty patient care.
  • Possess working knowledge of emergency medical operations, advanced emergency medical care procedures and safety procedures and precautions for operations dealing with hazardous and toxic materials, infections, contagious specimens and extremely volatile chemicals and explosive materials.
  • Possess professional knowledge of medical technology and science principles, theories, practice, and methodologies sufficient to conduct training and evaluation of CBRN Response Enterprise medical sections. Knowledge and application of hazardous materials chemistry principles, microbiology, mathematics, and statistics as related to laboratory operations, medical operations, and NBC operations.
  • Possess a CPR certification.
  • Possess OSHA Hazardous Material First Responder Operations Level certification
  • Possess accreditation by appropriate medical credentialing agencies for required Medical subject matter expertise.
