Facilities Management Team Lead

SUMMARY:

DAWSON is looking for the next Facilities Management Team Lead in San Antonio, Texas. The Facilities Management Team Lead provide logistical support for the Logistics Division and one of its three branches, Facilities Management. The Facilities Management branch executes new work and equipment site prep projects to support changes and meet requirements to modernize facilities. The Facilities Management is responsible for grounds maintenance, pest control, furniture installation and joint commission readiness. Facilities Management is also responsible to execute construction projects, update facilities, and process space requests by finding the most efficient solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in analyzing program data to measure the effectiveness of space planning and/or interior design programs.
  • With the guidance of government oversight, serves as system administrator and system specialist for CAD and Windows NT operating systems.
  • Assist in preparing for quarterly Space Committee Meeting.
  • Complete all required government unique training as per hospital policy.
  • As per direction of government oversight, transfer findings from written condition assessment reports, inspections, studies, etc., into the requirements Module.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job has supervisory responsibilities.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Complete and submit require government manpower hour submissions using as directed to reflect actual hours worked while employed by the facility for approval by the authorized government representative.
  • Assist the government staff in documenting tasks, attending staff meetings and provide status reports/briefings as necessary and will interact with customers in a courteous manner that reflects favorably on BAMC.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or similar degree.
  • Must have 5 years’ experience as well as supervisor experience in logistic operations.
  • Must complete and pass a local background check prior to employment. Employee is subject to periodic checks throughout the performance period.
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator with strong technical capacity and ability to accurately complete all documentation.
  • Be familiar with computer programs for floor planning.
  • Possess a working knowledge of Department of Defense manpower procedures and understand DoD space management criteria in order to analyze, interpret, facilitate or improve on recommendations in the studies and their implementation.
  • Be familiar with computer programs such as Computer Aid Designed (CAD).
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain productivity both independently and collaboratively.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and effectively managing programs as a proficient problem solver and teamwork supporter.
  • Detail-oriented with great organizational and time management skills with the ability to delegate and assign tasks.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) consisting of OSHA approved steel toe shoes, safety gloves, and hard hats and/or as required by SOPs when visiting construction sites.
  • This position requires a Non-Disclosure Agreement form signed by contractor employee.
