Job Title: Event Medical Admin (CA)
Position Summary: DAWSON is currently seeking team-oriented applicants to fill our Event Medical Administrative positions located throughout the State of California in support of the Medical Readiness Services for the California Army National Guard (CAARNG). Work is primarily on weekends, with some occasional weekdays. All work is on a part-time "as needed basis. We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the CAARNG.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES COULD INCLUDE:
Event set up, take down, and maintenance of workstation equipment
Perform and document vital sign measurements including blood pressure, height and weight
Complete vision screenings using Snellen or near vison eye charts and other equipment as required
Learn and examine documentation to identify soldier event requirements
Work collaboratively with event personnel
Safeguard soldiers information
Ensures all actions follow HIPAA and other appropriate federal and state laws and regulation
Complete trainings and education/certifications as required
Follow applicable contractual requirements stipulated by the Client and DAWSON
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
A valid US drivers license
Must be 18 years or older
Excellent customer service skills and experience interacting with difficult clientele
Utilization of universal precautions for patient care
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly
Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
Must submit no less than two professional references with resume
Team members must be collaborative and solution oriented
Experience working in a Military setting and working knowledge of the regulations and policies that apply to Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment is preferred
CPR/BLS Certification preferred
Basic computer knowledge and skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
